MEET  OUR  CREATIVE  TEAM

DIRECTOR

Mr. Meads is a former member of the STMS Drama Association and STHS alumnus Class of 2006. He has acted in and directed numerous plays and musicals all through, middle, high school, and college. In 2011, he returned to STMS as assistant director under the direction of his original drama mentor. In 2017, Mr. Meads became the drama director with his production of, "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown". He wrote various monologues in the recent fall production, #ThisIsME. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Cheyney University.

MS. SARAH BOWER

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Sarah Bower grew up a few towns over in Lansdale, PA, and graduated from North Penn High School in 2017. While attending North Penn, you could always find her in the theater department and choral ensembles. Sarah graduated from Temple University in 2021, where she earned degrees in Secondary Education and Mathematics. 
Sarah started working at Springfield Township Middle School as a sixth-grade math teacher in 2021. She believes in teaching her students concepts until they have a thorough understanding and building autonomy to mold independent learners. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys playing and listening to music, attending theatre productions, spending time with her family and friends, shopping, and playing with her dog, Lucy.

CHOREOGRAPHER
Ms. Fuhrmeister put on her first pair of ballet shoes all thanks to her aunt, Denise Walsh. She danced at Steppin' Out Academy under the direction of Jennifer Oldfield. She continued her training at Crane's Performing Arts as a member of Ash II directed by Braham Logan Crane. In high school, she was in many musicals; named dance captain for every show she auditioned. She danced in the Nutcracker; lead roles, (Clara, Soldier Doll, and Dew Drop Fairy). She danced in Boscov's Thanksgiving Day parade (now, Dunkin' Donuts parade) in Philadelphia. She studied at Point Park receiving her degree in Sports, Arts, and Entertainment. She works seasonally at the fighting Phils. She is a believer that children can benefit from dancing.
